A Florida woman, Sandra Jimenez, has been charged with aggravated battery after her boyfriend accused her of stabbing him in the eye with a rabies needle. The incident occurred during an argument about the boyfriend’s behavior, according to a Miami Police Department arrest affidavit. Following the argument, the boyfriend laid down on the couch and was attacked by Jimenez with two rabies needles, resulting in a pierced eyelid. Jimenez fled the scene but was later arrested at her residence after the victim reported the incident to the police. She has pled not guilty to the felony charge and is currently held on house arrest. The public defender assigned to her case has not responded to requests for comment. This incident adds to a string of violent events in Florida, including a woman who attempted to eat fake money while under arrest and a man who faces charges for stabbing a pregnant woman and hitting her with a cooking pan.
