Two Nashville churches are coming together to support each other after a tornado struck one of them. The Rev. Jacques Boyd offered space to worship at his church after a 2020 tornado destroyed Rev. Vincent Johnson’s church, and now Johnson’s church has been destroyed by a tornado. Members of Community Baptist Church were attending an appreciation banquet when the tornado struck, resulting in several injuries. Despite the devastation, there were survivors, with one member expressing gratitude for what he believes were angels protecting them. The close-knit community of the church has come together to support each other and help in any way possible. The pastors of the two churches, Boyd and Johnson, have been friends and are supporting each other through this difficult time. It is clear that the community, despite the trauma they have suffered, is rallying together to rebuild and find strength in one another. The support and resilience of these two churches is a testament to the power of faith and community in times of crisis.
