Grand Prairie police arrested a driver who led them on a chase after trying to pull over a suspected stolen vehicle on 360 near Interstate 20. The chase occurred around midnight and the driver fled south on the highway towards Mansfield. The pursuit ended when officers used their patrol unit to stop the vehicle at Day Miar Road and Grand Meadow Boulevard. The driver lost control and crashed into a power line pole. The driver and others in the car were taken into custody, but no one was hurt. The driver’s name has not yet been released. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of law enforcement vigilance in addressing stolen vehicle cases and the potential dangers that high-speed chases can pose.
