Dorothy “Dottie” Williams, a beloved resident of Clear Brook, VA, passed away at the age of 91 on June 28, 2024. She was born on May 18, 1933, in Whitacre to Ernie Kerns and Stella Armel. Dottie married Bobbie L. Williams in 1953 and was a dedicated military spouse, Red Cross aide, department store supervisor, and homemaker. She had a passion for gardening and was known for her green thumb.

Dottie is survived by her husband of over 71 years, Bobbie, as well as her children Sheila Pitzer and Steven Williams, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and siblings. She is preceded in death by her son, Bobbie Williams Jr., and several siblings.

Friends and family can pay their respects at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester on July 3, 2024, with a funeral service following. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Blue Ridge Hospice in Dottie’s name. The family asks for privacy during the burial at Shenandoah Memorial Park.
