Britain’s recent election has brought significant changes to the country’s political landscape, with nearly half of Parliament seats changing hands. The Conservative Party faced its worst defeat in nearly 200 years, losing more than half of its seats to the center-left Labour Party and the centrist Liberal Democrats.
The election saw major shifts in various regions. Labour reclaimed historic strongholds in northern England, while the Liberal Democrats gained ground in southern England. The Scottish National Party lost over 30 seats, and the Conservatives saw seats on London’s outskirts switch to other parties.
