The University of Virginia has added two opponents to its non-conference basketball schedule for the 2024-2025 season. According to reports, the Cavaliers will host Manhattan on November 26th and Holy Cross on November 29th. This will be the first meeting between UVA and Holy Cross, while Manhattan and UVA previously met in the 1993 NCAA Tournament, with the Cavaliers coming out on top. Both Manhattan and Holy Cross had tough seasons last year, finishing near the bottom of the NET rankings.

With these additions, Virginia now has 10 non-conference games scheduled for the upcoming season. While this may complete their non-conference slate, there is still a possibility for one more game to reach the maximum allowed number of regular season games. The Cavaliers’ schedule includes matchups against Villanova, Baylor, St. John’s, and Tennessee, among others, presenting a challenging set of games for the team.

Fans can stay updated on Virginia basketball news by visiting the team’s official website. Additionally, projections for the team’s starting lineup for next season have been made, featuring top recruits and existing players. The Cavaliers continue to build a strong team for the upcoming season and are ready to take on their non-conference opponents with determination and skill.
