A carjacker in Dumfries, Virginia, killed Jose Vasquez Galvan by running him over with his own SUV. Six days later, the suspect, Keith Anthony McBride, was arrested in Virginia Beach. Vasquez Galvan, a 37-year-old married father of two, was attacked as he stopped to pick up a package at his apartment complex. McBride has been charged with murder, felony hit-and-run, and grand larceny auto. The victim’s Lexus was found with the help of the community. The motive behind the carjacking remains unknown.
