Kenneth Sellner, a 21-year-old man from Phoenix, Arizona, was arrested and charged with bestiality after his mother caught him on surveillance video committing sexual acts with her horse. Sellner’s mother had asked him to clean the horse stalls while she was on vacation, and when she reviewed the footage, she saw him touching and rubbing the horse’s genitals on his bare body. Sellner claimed he was cleaning the horse, but his mother found no evidence of this. She confronted him, canceled her trip, and reported the incidents to the authorities, providing the surveillance footage as evidence. Upon reviewing the footage, officials confirmed that Sellner had committed bestiality on two separate occasions. Sellner was located and arrested at a friend’s apartment, where he admitted to touching the horse’s genitals while claiming that “one thing led to another.” He was booked at the Maricopa County Jail and is facing two counts of bestiality charges. Sheriff Russ Skinner condemned Sellner’s actions, calling them “beyond reprehensible.” He praised the detectives for quickly apprehending the predator and advised the public to remain vigilant and report criminal behavior. Sellner’s case serves as a reminder of the importance of reporting such heinous acts, regardless of who the perpetrator may be.
