Kazakhstan’s Yeldos Smetov won the men’s under 60kg event, earning his country’s first gold in Paris. France’s Luka Mkheidze claimed silver in that event.
American rugby player Perry Baker made history by becoming the all-time leading men’s scorer in Olympic rugby sevens.
