Delores Carter Judd, a beloved member of the Virginia Beach community, passed away on July 19, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. Born in Jesup, Georgia in 1949, Delores spent over 30 years dedicating her life to teaching in Virginia Beach Public Schools, impacting the lives of numerous students and colleagues.
Delores, a devoted mother to daughters Lisa and Stephanie, and a loving grandmother to Hillary, was known for her warm personality, welcoming nature, and ability to find joy in the simple things in life. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sewing, crafting, baking, and making cherished memories.
Preceded in death by her parents, Delores is survived by her daughters, granddaughter, brothers, sisters, and a host of extended family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory. Her vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and unconditional love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Delores Carter Judd’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her presence.
