Melody Waldecker, a mother of four and grandmother to eight, tragically lost her life in a carjacking incident in Sterling, Virginia on Sunday. The 54-year-old woman from Silver Spring, Maryland had just entered a 7-Eleven when she saw a man stealing her Kia Sorento. She tried to stop him, but was fatally injured in the process.
