Arlington’s Met Park is now home to Amazon’s second headquarters, known as HQ2. The new building, located on the corner of South Eads Street and 15th Street South, offers an array of businesses and amenities for employees and the community to enjoy. The park-like setting includes outdoor spaces with a sculpture garden, playground, trails, water features, and a dog run. Amazon’s horticulture team grows fresh food for a local nonprofit in an on-campus garden, and there are fitness classes, a bike shop, and a doggie daycare available on-site.
For those looking to grab a bite to eat, there are several restaurants to choose from including South Block, Good Company Doughnuts & Cafe, Peruvian Brothers, Taqueria Xochi, Toby’s Ice Cream, Mae’s Market, and Makers Union. Other features of HQ2 include a skincare spa, a contemporary art museum, and a preschool that also offers daycare and summer camps.
Met Park has become a bustling hub of corporate culture, commerce, and green space, where families, pets, employees, and community members can come together to enjoy all that is has to offer. With a mix of businesses and amenities, HQ2 has quickly become a vibrant and integrated part of the National Landing community.
