Virginia Tech has appointed Juan Espinoza as the university’s new vice provost for enrollment management. In this role, Espinoza will oversee all aspects of enrollment management, including student recruitment, admissions, financial aid, and student retention initiatives.
Espinoza brings with him a wealth of experience in higher education, having previously served as the assistant vice president for enrollment management at Texas Tech University. He has also held leadership positions at the University of Texas at El Paso and the University of New Mexico.
As vice provost for enrollment management, Espinoza will work closely with university leadership to develop strategies for recruiting and retaining a diverse and talented student body. He will also collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure that students have access to the resources and support they need to succeed academically.
