West Virginia Offensive Lineman Wyatt Milum Named to Lombardi Award Watch List – WV Sports Now

West Virginia University offensive lineman Wyatt Milum has been named to the Lombardi Award watch list. The Lombardi Award is given annually to the top college football lineman or linebacker in the nation. Milum, a redshirt sophomore, is one of 120 players from across the country who have been named to the watch list.

Milum has been a standout player for the Mountaineers since arriving on campus. He started all 10 games for West Virginia last season and was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team. Milum is known for his strength and agility, and his ability to protect the quarterback and create running lanes for the running backs.

Head coach Neal Brown spoke highly of Milum, stating that he has been impressed with his work ethic and dedication to his craft. Brown also praised Milum’s leadership on and off the field, saying that he sets a great example for his teammates.

Milum is one of four players from the Big 12 conference to be named to the Lombardi Award watch list. Other notable players on the list include Ohio State’s Thayer Munford, Alabama’s Evan Neal, and Georgia’s Jordan Davis.

Milum will look to build on his success from last season and continue to make an impact for the Mountaineers this year. He will be a key player for West Virginia as they compete in the tough Big 12 conference.

The Lombardi Award winner will be announced on December 8th at the University of Houston. Milum will look to join an elite group of college football players who have won this prestigious award in the past.
