Ten U.S. service members from Naval Air Station Fallon were flown to Reno, Nevada after sustaining injuries in a training incident involving two MH-60S Seahawk helicopters. The incident occurred on Thursday night at the Fallon air station. The sailors suffered non-life threatening injuries and were landed at Pickett Park in Reno at around 9:15 p.m. They were being treated at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, although their conditions were not confirmed. Naval Air Forces Commander Beth Teach provided information on the incident to USA TODAY. Fallon is located in the Nevada desert about 62 miles east of Reno, which is close to the California border. USA TODAY is in the process of contacting the Reno Police Department for further details on the incident.
