Campaigning for the 2024 presidential election is in full swing, with Kamala Harris and Donald Trump continuing to spar. Harris and Tim Waltz appealed to young voters in Michigan on Monday, while Barack Obama and Bruce Springsteen rallied in Philadelphia. In response to accusations of racism and Nazi comparisons after a rally in Madison Square Garden, Trump vehemently denied being compared to Hitler, stating he is “the opposite of a Nazi.”

In upcoming events, Trump will hold a news conference and then head to Allentown, Pennsylvania. Bernie Sanders campaigned for Harris in Wisconsin, criticizing Mike Pence and emphasizing the importance of defeating a “pathological liar” undermining American democracy. Sanders also addressed concerns about the Biden-Harris administration’s approach to Gaza.

Bruce Springsteen, before performing at a rally with Obama, voiced his support for Harris and Walz, while opposing Trump and JD Vance. He emphasized the need for a president who upholds the constitution, believes in the rule of law, and fights for women’s rights and a middle-class economy.

Anita Hill condemned the racist and sexist insults directed at Kamala Harris and expressed sympathy in a New York Times opinion piece. Additionally, Pennsylvania is investigating potential voter fraud, and former Trump ally Steve Bannon has been released from prison after serving a four-month sentence. Bannon faces further charges in New York relating to fundraising for Trump’s border wall project. The Senate race is heating up, with Republicans aiming to overturn the Democratic majority.
