Two local West Virginia playoff games have been postponed due to impending winter weather. Moorefield’s game at Williamstown has been rescheduled to Saturday at 4 p.m., while East Hardy’s game at Tucker County will take place on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Moorefield, seeded No. 13 in Class AA, will face off against No. 4 Williamstown, while East Hardy, seeded No. 15 in Class A, will take on No. 2 Tucker County in a rematch of a previous game. Up to eight inches of snow is expected in Tucker County during the week.
If the games are postponed again, they will be played on Sunday at 2 p.m. Three other area contests are scheduled for Saturday, including matchups in Class AA, Class A, and Class AAA.
