The Loudoun County High School Varsity Cheer Team celebrated a major milestone by performing at the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. The team joined hundreds of cheerleaders from across the country in a routine to Chappell Roan’s “Hot to Go!” The parade featured 17 giant character balloons, 22 floats, 15 inflatables, 11 marching bands, 700 clowns, and 10 performance groups. Despite the rain, the team captured their journey from rehearsals to performance with photos shared with WUSA9. This marks the first time the team has been included in the parade, capping off an impressive season where they remained undefeated and secured titles as district, region, and state champions. The team’s success adds to the achievements of other Virginia cheerleaders who performed in the parade last year. This performance highlights a remarkable season for the Loudoun County Varsity Cheer Team and is a proud moment for the school and community.
