Florida defeats Virginia in dominating fashion, 87-69.

The 13th-ranked Florida Gators dominated the Virginia Cavaliers in an 87-69 victory on Wednesday night. Senior guard Walter Clayton Jr. led the way with 27 points, while sophomore forward Alex Condon added 19 points. The win improved the Gators to 9-0, marking their best start since 2005 and placing them among the 14 remaining unbeaten teams in the country. Despite being out-rebounded, Florida forced 15 turnovers and capitalized on them, resulting in a 16-point advantage in points off turnovers. The Gators’ next challenge comes against Arizona State on December 14 in Atlanta, where both teams will look to improve their NCAA Evaluation Tool rankings. Walter Clayton Jr. continues to shine as the team’s leading scorer, maintaining his impressive level of play. The Gators have a tough matchup ahead against the Sun Devils, who have been on a hot streak with wins over top 100 teams. This game will be a significant opportunity for both teams to bolster their resumes. Florida will have some time off for Reading Days and semester exams before gearing up for the Holiday Hoopsgiving showdown.
