West Virginia University’s men’s and women’s diving teams will be participating in the Rutgers Diving Invitational at the Rutgers Aquatics Center in New Jersey from December 5-7. The prelims will begin at 10:30 a.m. EST on Thursday and Friday, and at 11 a.m. on Saturday, with finals scheduled for 4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
Representing West Virginia at the event will be sophomore Owen Recker, juniors Abigail Sullivan and Christian Torres, and seniors Hayden Apel and Sarah Krusinski. Recker recently won the 3-meter at the WVU Invitational and has posted NCAA Zone qualifying scores on the 1-meter, 3-meter, and platform this season. Sullivan has qualified on the platform, while Krusinski has qualified on the 1-meter and 3-meter.
The event schedule includes the 1-meter and 3-meter events for both men and women on Thursday and Friday, with the platform event for both genders taking place on Saturday.
