Bridgeport High School standout Carter Zuliani is set to take his talents to West Virginia University after signing his national letter of intent on National Signing Day. Zuliani, a multi-sport athlete who excels in basketball, track, swimming, and football, is viewed as a tight end by WVU.
Standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 230 pounds, Zuliani made a name for himself on the football field with two receptions for 47 yards, a blocked punt, and up to four tackles per game during the 2024 season. He ultimately chose WVU over four Division I offers, including one from Youngstown State, and had been in talks with Marshall before committing to the Mountaineers.
Blaine Stewart, WVU’s inside receivers coach, played a key role in recruiting Zuliani to the program. Zuliani’s familial connection to WVU also played a significant role in his decision, as he explained in an interview with WV Sports Now. Despite receiving offers from multiple schools, Zuliani felt that WVU was the best fit for him both athletically and personally.
Zuliani’s commitment to WVU marks a significant achievement for the young athlete as he prepares to join the Mountaineers’ football program and contribute to their success on the field. Stay tuned for more updates on WVU football recruiting at WV Sports Now.
