Caleb Simmons led the Broncos with 24 points, while Tairell Fletcher added 16 points. Fayetteville State excelled in ball handling and defense, forcing 14 turnovers from Virginia Union. Despite Dalyaun Mitchell’s 21 points for the Panthers, they were unable to overcome the Broncos’ strong performance. Fayetteville State will next host Winston-Salem State on February 13th.
