Construction on The Dome in Virginia Beach’s Atlantic Park project is nearing completion, with a debut concert by Three Dog Night scheduled for May 4. Live Nation Entertainment will operate the 3,500-seat venue in partnership with the city. Reporters and officials toured the venue, which will also host weddings, conventions, and parties. The building features a third-story mezzanine for general admission seating, VIP areas with cocktail tables, and a lobby with a unique parametric wall. Outdoor seating will be available with hangar doors providing a direct view of the stage. The focus is now on finishing architectural details and installing final touches before the grand opening. The Dome promises to be a vibrant addition to Virginia Beach’s entertainment scene, offering a versatile space for a variety of events.
