Boston College, North Carolina, and Virginia Shine in 2025 ACC Women’s Lacrosse Awards
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) — The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) announced the 2025 Women’s Lacrosse Season Awards, recognizing standout performers from Boston College, North Carolina, and Virginia. The honors reflect a vote among the league’s 12 head coaches.
Boston College celebrated multiple accolades, with Rachel Clark receiving the title of Attacker of the Year. Clark leads the nation with 91 goals and ranks second in points (125), showcasing impressive averages of 4.79 goals per game and 5.95 points per game. She is also noted for her 10 game-winning goals. Teammate Shea Baker earned Defender of the Year, playing a pivotal role in one of the nation’s top defenses. Baker caused 35 turnovers this season and recorded 88 draw controls. Shea Dolce was named Goalkeeper of the Year for the second consecutive year, with a national-leading save percentage of .556 and a goals-against average of 7.49.
North Carolina’s Eliza Osburn claimed Freshman of the Year, marking the first time a Tar Heel has received this honor since 2018. With 27 points and 44 draw controls in her freshman season, Osburn made a notable impact. Jenny Levy was honored as Coach of the Year, marking her eighth accolade and reflecting her outstanding leadership in guiding UNC to an undefeated 18-0 season and the ACC Championship.
Virginia’s Kate Galica was recognized as Midfielder of the Year, scoring 40 goals this season and setting a school record with 160 draw controls.
The complete 29-team field for the NCAA Tournament will be revealed on May 4. The championship begins on May 9.
