The family of Virginia Giuffre, known for her allegations of sexual abuse against Prince Andrew, has confirmed her tragic death by suicide at the age of 41. Amanda Roberts, Giuffre’s sister-in-law, described her as “a fierce warrior” who fought tirelessly for justice for survivors of sexual abuse and trafficking. Giuffre was found unresponsive in her home in Neergabby, Australia, on April 24. “The world lost a fierce warrior,” Roberts told People. “She was a beautiful soul, but sometimes, the weight of that burden becomes too much.” The family reiterated that Giuffre had endured a lifelong struggle with trauma, adding that her children were left without their mother, underscoring the profound loss.
Her brother, Sky Roberts, was with her at the time of her death. A family statement emphasized that Giuffre had been a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and trafficking, becoming a beacon of hope for other survivors. “Despite all the adversity she faced, she shone so bright,” they said.
In March, Giuffre shared on social media that she had been severely injured in an accident, stating that doctors gave her only four days to live. “I think it’s important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you… no matter what your car is made of, it might as well be a tin can,” she wrote.
Giuffre’s allegations against Epstein and his associates, including Prince Andrew, brought significant attention to issues of sexual exploitation and trafficking.
