MIDLOTHIAN, VA – The excitement of youth soccer culminated at River City Sportsplex as the ECNL Virginia hosted the concluding boys Continental Tire ECNL National Selection Game for the 2024-25 season. The West’s defense, anchored by goalkeepers Alvaro Reyes from El Camino FC Salinas and Max Baker from Colorado Rapids, was impenetrable, earning them a clean sheet.
Ramirez’s standout performance not only resulted in the game-winning goal but also earned him the title of Player of the Match. He emphasized the importance of seizing such moments to showcase his talent to coaches and fans alike. “I have to step up in this big game and show who I am,” he remarked.
