A mass shooting in Chicago’s Chicago Lawn neighborhood left three people dead and five others injured on Monday afternoon. Police believe the shooting occurred at a social gathering, with victims ranging in age from 21 to 35, all of Hispanic background. No arrests have been made, and police are still investigating the incident. Eight victims were found with gunshot wounds, including three men who died either at the scene or at a nearby hospital. Two victims were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, one in stable condition and one in critical condition. Two others were treated at UI Health Hospital in good condition, while a 24-year-old woman was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in serious condition.
